Skyen Systems ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Zyna AI mobile application
("Zyna AI" or the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use,
disclose, and protect your information when you use the App.
1. Information We Collect
Depending on how you use Zyna AI, we may collect:
Account information: name, email address, phone number, and authentication identifiers when you sign up or sign in (including via Google or Apple).
Chat content: text messages, voice transcripts, and images you send or generate in the App.
Voice data: audio recordings when you use voice-to-text. Audio is processed for transcription and is not stored permanently on our servers after processing.
Images: photos you upload for AI image editing, stored to provide the service and sync your history.
Device and usage data: device type, operating system, app version, and general usage needed to operate and improve the App.
Analytics data: Firebase Analytics may collect app events (such as screens viewed and feature usage) to help us understand how the App is used. This data is aggregated and does not include the content of your chats or images.
Advertising data: Google Mobile Ads may collect device identifiers and interaction data to show ads to free users.
2. How We Use Your Information
Provide AI chat, voice transcription, and image editing features.
Authenticate your account and sync your data across devices.
Store chat history locally and in the cloud when you are signed in.
Display advertisements to non-subscribers.
Maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve the App.
Respond to support requests.
3. Third-Party Services
We use trusted third parties to operate Zyna AI. They process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms:
Google Firebase — authentication, cloud database, file storage, cloud functions, and Firebase Analytics.
OpenAI — AI chat responses and voice transcription (Whisper). Chat messages and voice audio you submit may be sent to OpenAI for processing. See OpenAI's Privacy Policy.
Google Gemini — AI image editing. Images and edit instructions you submit may be sent to Google for processing. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Google Mobile Ads — advertising for free users.
Google Sign-In / Apple Sign-In — optional account login.
We do not sell your personal information.
3.1 Third-Party AI and Your Consent
Before you use AI features (chat, voice, or image editing), the App asks for your permission to share
the data described above with OpenAI and Google Gemini. You can allow or decline this sharing in the
in-app AI Data Sharing prompt and change your choice anytime in
Settings → AI Data Sharing.
Data sent to third-party AI providers by feature:
Text chat: your messages and recent chat history (text only) are sent to OpenAI.
Voice-to-text: your voice audio is sent to OpenAI for transcription.
Image editing: your photos and edit instructions are sent to Google Gemini.
We require that third parties receiving your data provide protections consistent with this Privacy Policy
and applicable law. Data may be processed in the United States and other countries where these providers operate.
4. Data Storage and Retention
Chat messages and images may be stored on your device and in Firebase (Firestore and Storage)
while your account is active. We retain data as long as needed to provide the service or as
required by law. You may request deletion of your account data by contacting us (see Section 8).
5. Permissions
The App may request access to:
Microphone — for voice-to-text.
Photo library — to select images for AI editing and to save edited images.
Internet — required for AI features and account sync.
6. AI-Generated Content
Zyna AI uses third-party AI models to generate chat responses, transcriptions, and edited images.
Outputs are produced automatically and may be inaccurate or inappropriate. We apply safeguards on
image editing where possible, but no AI system is perfect. Do not submit sensitive personal
information you do not want processed by our AI providers.
7. Children's Privacy
Zyna AI is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region).
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe
a child has provided us data.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
Access, correct, or delete your personal data.
Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent (including third-party AI data sharing in Settings).
Object to or restrict certain processing.
Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and
Firebase security rules. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
10. International Transfers
Your data may be processed in countries where our service providers operate,
including the United States. We take steps to protect your information in line
with applicable law.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version
at this URL and update the "Last updated" date above.
